The Sandwich - A Part of Life.

Above is a picture of what I use to create my evening sandwich. Bread, spread, and things in between. I usually have my evening sandwich around 9 pm, it's a nice little tradition, and I have it even if I'm not particularly hungry.

Routines are nice, I don't know what I'd do without them. I could never live a "wild and crazy" life without routines. They're also very important, especially if you freelance and/or run your own company. And even more so if you work a lot from home. You need to get up at 8:30 the latest, have some coffee, and get to work by 9. At noon it's time for lunch and errands, and then it's back home to work until 5:30 pm. Making this into routine is essential, and if you do, a lot of things get done. I've actually noticed that I get more done whilst working from home than from an office. Although, nothing beats going to an office, it's nice to leave the house, even if you do the same kind of work. A Spok-spok office will hopefully be found soon, and it will be a magical place.

Today I watched Sin City, and it was sooo long...

Drutten och Jena.

This is a collage of some Cheburashka related items I have. What's a grown man doing collecting Cheburashkas, you might ask. Well, I enjoy it, it brings me back to the carefree days of my childhood, when the high point of the day was to sit down in front of the TV and watch "Drutten och Jena". You might not know it, but "Drutten and Jena" was imported from Russia, Cheburashka became Drutten, and Gena became Jena. Oh, the responsibility free days of my socialist childhood.

Oh, and the white Cheburashka sings if you press it's tummy.

Saturday, Saturday, Saturday.

It's weekend, which is nice. I've been working on the Spoks for a few hours today, and am proud to be able to announce that they soon will be available in Italy as well. There's a big Spok-spok following in Italy, my theory is that it's because of the success of Tokidoki (an Italian guy making designer toys under the moniker Tokidoki). So the Spoks are slowly spreading across the globe, only Africa and South America left to conquer. :)

I also went to Super 88 and got some groceries, and some snacks. M is sick, so I got her some comfort food. Then I cooked an improv version of Swedish hash. It was pretty good.

Later today I have to finish a couple of reviews, and then paint for a couple of hours. It's one of those busy yet relaxed Saturdays.
