Happy Moon Day!

It's moon day! The official name is Mid-Autumn Festival, but it's all about the full moon.

Moon day is a special day when the whole family gathers together after dinner, drinks some tea, and "admires the moon." Like every good holiday it revolves around love and pastry.

There is a legend involving 10 suns, archery, gods, love and immortality. But the pastry is what everyone really cares about!

Moon cakes are dense and puck shaped. They are filled with anything from red bean and lotus paste to egg yokes or meat. Usually a whole family shares just one or 2 moon cakes. We've only ever known one person to eat a whole moon cake by himself (We're looking at you Daniel!)
